EMAIL: WRITING

Dear Rodrigo,

First of all, congratulations on your new job! It’s fantastic to hear that your company is sending you to Viña del Mar. I’m excited for you to experience our beautiful city.

During your evenings, I recommend going to the beach and enjoying the beautiful landscape, the sunsets are stunning and provide a relaxing way to end your day. For dinner, Viña del Mar has lots of places to eat, which are delicious! I have to say that Cafés here are another experience, like “Café Rosa” where the only color you can see is pink, it’s absolutely tasty! Additionally, Quinta Vergara Park often hosts music and art events and is perfect for an evening walk. Maybe you can be lucky and have the opportunity to attend some events there.

For your weekend, consider spending a day exploring Valparaíso. Its colorful houses, street art, and unique funiculars make it a must-see. Another great option is the Jardín Botánico Nacional, where you can enjoy a day surrounded by nature, perfect for walking and a picnic.

To practice your Spanish, visit local markets to engage with vendors and practice your Spanish while shopping for fresh products and souvenirs. Look for language exchange groups or events in local cafes or attend local cultural events, concerts, and festivals to immerse yourself in the language naturally.

Enjoy your stay in Viña del Mar, and I hope these suggestions help you make the most of your trip. Feel free to reach out if you need more tips or assistance.

Best regards,

Javiera.
